throwback Thursday

Today I want to share 2 things with you. The first is this blessing dress. I did it for my 2nd granddaughter 4 years ago. It is done with shadow work embroidery and hand smocked. It was so much fun to do, but yes, a lot of work.

The second one is a quilt I made for a friends little girl in 2010. I was talking to my friend the other day and she said that her little girl still uses and loves her quilt. My friend told me it is one of her favorites of all the quilts I have made. I quilted it on my domestic machine.

I love to quilt and sew. I also enjoy hand embroidery and smocking, as well as applique.
