Salt and Sand blog hop

Welcome to the 2nd day of the Salt and sand blog hop.   Today is my day to share a fun project.   Thank you to Carol @ Justletmequilt.com for hosting this hop.   When Carol posted about this hop, she said it could be anything that reminds us about the beach, the ocean, or even animals in the ocean and water.

I was having a hard time deciding what to make, then I remembered this fabric I had picked up.

I have grandchildren who love the baby shark song, and thought this would make a cute pillow case.

I used the burrito method to make this, so there are no frayed edges.   I used to serge the edges, until I discovered this method.   It goes together very quickly.

This is for 1 of my grandsons, and I think I will make a cute quilt using the same fabric.

I need to make more of these pillowcases.

Thank you for dropping by today.  I love 2 read your comments.   So, please feel free to leave a comment.

  1. Very cute. I admit to not knowing anything about baby shark. Yes, I have been living under a rock it seems. I know it's a huge hit and kids love it. I followed those trends when my kids were little. I guess I just need grandchildren soon.
