Welcome. It has been a while since I last posted, but life has been crazy. I hope you are all surviving the craziness of CoVid19.
Today I am part of the monthly color challenge host by Jen at www.patternsbyjen.blogspot.com.
This months color is one of my most favorite. I love purple. Some of my favorite flowers are purple: pansys, violets, and lavender.
This block is very easy to do. It has flying geese and hsts, which I absolutely love to do. One of my tips for you is to make sure you press your seams. You can either press open or to 1 side.
I looked up the meaning of the color purple and found this:
The color purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic.
Purple is also made up of two color families red and blue.
This quarter (April - June) has some great sponsors that you can win prizes from. So how do you enter to win? So glad you asked. Each of the 3 months go to Jen's page at www.patternsbyjen.blogspot.com, to get the pattern and to link up at the end of the month and you will be entered.

Hi Kathy! I remember telling my niece about the color purple (for royalty) when she had her baby daughter. I knew she would be treated like a Princess so she may as well enjoy the royal color. I love the deep purple fabric you chose! It sure looks great offset by the white. My mom's name was Violet and she had pure white hair and looked fabulous wearing a nice deep color just like your block. Stay healthy and safe. ~smile~ Roseanne
