I appreciate Marian at www.seamstobesew.com for putting this blog hop together and finding the sponsors to offer these great prizes. A special thank you to all the sponsors.
So, I am just going to share a couple of the quilts I am working on.
This one is one that I started when I did a book review for Christa Watson. You can read that review here.. This is her squiggles quilt pattern. I am using some batiks from Island Batik for this quilt. I made a pillow sham and a throw pillow to match.
This is the quilt I am currently working on.
The next quilt I would like to share is one by www.sewkindofwonderful.com. This one is also being done with batiks from Island Batik.
I know that what I really need to do, is make a list of my ufos and just get them finished. Maybe I need to set some deadlines. Maybe I should say, I need to finish quilting one and piecing one, before I start a new one.
I hope that throughout this blog hop you have been inspired to get some of your ufos finished. I know I have been.
Be sure to enter the giveaway. Just make sure you read the rules first.

Thank you for sharing your UFOs. I like your colors. So peaceful. Your words: "One of these days I will be so organized I won't have this issue." How many times we've all told ourselves this. I am a very organized person, but I still don't think I'm organized enough.
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely projects--I too have many!
ReplyDeleteThe batik colors you chose are so fresh and like a cool breeze! Even using the cut-off parts as a border is so awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh no...your not going to say setting a deadline are you. Having to actually finish and quilt one project before starting another...I can't do it...I just can't! LOL!!!! Love your works in progress. Of course you couldn't have picked better fabrics to work with! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your projects.

ReplyDeleteI love your quilts. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove that first project, it's going to be beautiful when you finish it Kathy. The pillow is fabulous, so it would definitely give me an incentive to finish the quilt also. The second project is also nice, love batiks myself. I'm glad you participated in the hop this year I know with your busy schedule it is not always easy to get everything coordinated. Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors!!! They are so pretty and the quilt shows them off nicely.
ReplyDeleteGreat projects , I love batiks!
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. Very versatile, you could use lots of different colors...your color choices are great. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAs long as there are quilters there will be UFO's. The only thing that helps me is a deadline to keep me focused!
