I am a mom, wife and grandma. I work full time as a professional
seamstress, and quilt and sew whenever I get a chance. I love all forms
of quilting and love making quilts from start to finish. My great
grandmother was a quilter. I can remember walking into her house, and
it seems like there was always a quilt set up. My mother also quilted.
She would hand quilt and I remember her having neighbors who would come
over and help. My siblings and I would play under the quilt and
pretend that it was our house. I love to quilt and I love to share my
quilts with others.
Most recently I have started doing pattern testing for quilt pattern
designers. I love doing this. It is fun to see how other quilt pattern
designers write their patterns.
If I am not quilting, you can find me cooking, especially Dutch oven
cooking, bicycling, hiking and spending time with my family. |
