Welcome to the 2nd day of the blog hop. Carla @ https://createinthesticks.blogspot.com/?m=1 A couple of my favorite things about fall is the weather starts cooling down. I do not love the cold of winter, but I do enjoy cooler temperatures in the fall. I also love watching the leaves change colors.
For today's project I have a couple of fun things to share.
Of course with fall is the start of football season. Both professional and college. So, I made 2 pillows, 1 for my hubby and 1 for my son. Both like BYU as 1 of their college teams. My son loves the Indianapolis Colts, as well as a few others. Me. I am not big into football. I will sometimes watch.
This is another project I have done. I made these placemats for my daughter.
These are very easy to make and I am thinking they will make some great gifts for Christmas. May have to do some seasonal ones for my married children.
I am currently working on this table topper. It may be for 1 of my daughters or myself.
My friend Bea www.beaquilter.com designed this pattern.
I love it. I am thinking I might double batt with 100% cotton and use it as a potholders on my island or table to sit hot plates on it. You can find the pattern here https://www.beaquilter.com/product/bl155-interlocking-leaves-quilt-pattern and it is on sale for $5.00 this week.
I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared with you today. Come back Thursday as I have another blog hop and a free pattern for you.
Please visit these bloggers. They all have some fun projects to share.

Love the cozy pillows the festive fall placemats and really, really love the tesselating leaves wall hanging. I made one like that in my early quilting days. Great job!ReplyDelete
Pretty placemats and your tabletopper is taking shape nicely.ReplyDelete
Great pillows for your guys, and I know your daughter will love the Fall placements. They are beautiful! And what a fun design for a table topper. Thank you for the link to the pattern.ReplyDelete

So many fun fall projects. I'd need the pillow for football, since I would likely fall asleep (not much of a fan) - haha!ReplyDelete
Very lovely pillows and placemats! Very fun!ReplyDelete
Such fun pillows and placemats for fall! Love Bea's pattern you're making, too. Thank you for sharing!ReplyDelete
Good work on the placemats. I like the way the fall fabric is the focus. This seems to be a very good idea when you don't want to cut up a favorite fabric.ReplyDelete
Your projects definitely say Hello Fall. You're right about the placemats being a great idea for gifts for the upcoming holidays.ReplyDelete
Great projects. Thanks so much for sharing!ReplyDelete
Beautiful place mats...have a great day!
These are great projects. Thanks for sharing!ReplyDelete
Love your projects, especially Bea’s patternReplyDelete
Gotta play with college fabrics with the football season. I use to test for Bea and she does have great patterns.ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing the lovely projects. Seeing your college pillow comment makes me think of how that also plays so nicely into fall. Even without college football this year, (is it happening or not, I really lost track) college gear certainly reminds me of the season.ReplyDelete
Lovely projects! Seasonal placemats are a wonderful idea for gifts.ReplyDelete
Football is definitely something one thinks about when Fall comes around. Great projects - you're as busy as a beaver.ReplyDelete
