I want to thank Melissa for hosting this blog tour. I love participating in these.
For the Breaking Ground blog tour, we were told to try a pattern company new to us. I have sewn patterns from the major companies, McCalls, Simplicity, Butterick, Vogue and Kwilts Sew, bit just in the last year have discovered the indie pattern designers. These are smaller designers and their patterns usually are pdf patterns. I love the pdf patterns. You can print only the size you need, or you can print the whole thing. I print the whole pattern, tape it, and trace the size I need, and then I roll it up, put in a mailing tube, put all pertinent information on the tube, and then I have a master pattern. Also most of these patterns come in several sizes. Usually 2 - 12, and sometimes even bigger ranges than that.
Today, the pattern company I want to feature is www.pickletoespatterns.com. I found them through a testing call, and I have fallen in love with their patterns. They are cute and stylish and the directions are well written.
The pattern I am showing you today is the Taylor Tee. It can be color blocked, or it can be done plain. I have done the shirt both ways and love it.
This pattern is the Taylor Tee. And the neat thing? If you sew for dad, mom, kids and baby, you can get this pattern in all those sizes. Baby size is NB to 24 Months, kid sizes 2 - 16, Women and Men. My affiliate link is http://pickletoespatterns.com?aff=71. So, get on over there and grab these patterns. I would love to see what you come up with. I love when my readers share pictures.
