Ghastly Ghouls blog hop

Hi all,

I am not usually into Halloween.  I was more so when my kids were younger, but now that they are grown, I have decided that I want to decorate a bit more.

For this hop, hosted by Carol @www.justletmequilt.com, I decided to do some placemats.  I had done these for a class that I taught at witches day out at my local quilt shop, where I work.

These placemats were easy to do.     They were actually in a panel.   There are four panels for the placemats.   I then chose my backing and I used 100 percent cotton batting by winline.   I love the piece I used for the binding.

I just did some free motion quilting and I used a Bernina 770 for that.  I really love the BSR that are on the Bernina machines.

I love the spider web fabric.    I had another little idea I was going to share, unfortunately it didn't get done.   I will share it as soon as I get it done.

Please follow me on my blog as I have some things I am working on that I will be sharing.

Please check out all the bloggers who have been blogging this week.  There are some great ideas.

I hope you have found some great ideas.   I will be back with some really fun stuff.    Thanks for joining me today.

  5. The prints on the panels are so spooky and I love the colors in them. How fun to have clear plates so you can see all the frightfully cool designs while you eat! I need too practice more with my BSR...I don't think it likes me. LOL Thanks for sharing!
